Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Protect your account with Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP). Mandatory for seller and admin portals.

Step-by-Step Instructions (3 Steps)

Expected Outcome: The Two-Factor Authentication enrollment card is displayed.

Open Google Authenticator, Apple Passwords, or Authy on your mobile device and scan the presented QR code, or paste the manual key.

Expected Outcome: A 6-digit rotating verification code appears in your authenticator app under 'Fan HQ'.

Enter the current 6-digit code into Fan HQ and click 'Verify & Enable 2FA'.

✓

Expected Outcome: Two-Factor Authentication is activated. You will be prompted for this code whenever signing into sensitive portals.

⚠️

•Ensure your device time is synchronized with network time; clock drift of even 60 seconds will cause codes to fail.
•If you lose access to your authenticator app, contact support at support@fanhq.lk with identity verification.
